There are neither beginnings nor endings to the wheel of time, but this was a beginning - and the current state of the server plot. Characters can investigate or get involved, but this might make a good basis for what's going on. I'll update it now and then.
Tarabon
The Seanchan gather crushing the last vestiges of resistance now that the King is finally presumed dead, to prepare with new arrivals from Falme to push against the Whitecloaks, when that conflict begins shortly. The Daughter of the Nine Moons has arrived to see the Forerunners become the Return as the Harbor is put to order and thousands upon thousands begin to arrive.
Amador
War preparations against the Seanchan occupy most of the nation, its considerable industry bent to the task. Survivors from Tarabon are helping to drill its armies. Eamon Valda demands a fight to the last and he might well get it. Fortifications are being dug, supply dumps made - to hide against the Raken entire wagon convoys now only move at night.
Altara
The nation is still divided, but the nobles are beginning to worry of the Seanchan. Slowly the nation appears to be getting a bit more centralized authority, but it still isnt much and unfortunately a fair amount of that might be whitecloaks.
Ghealdan
The Shaido, having split off from the Dragon ravage these lands. While the capitol Jhennah is still in the hands of the monarchs, past events and fires, combined with the summer heat has brought this nation to its knees.
Murandy
The Whitecloaks have seized Lugard, and already are getting recruits and some traction here. Shaido raid the nation's edges. Warlords gather thier own troops. Andoran Rebels spill into it, and strange types hunt for relics of Aridhol.
Illian
Much is quiet, watching the next Whitecloak war against the Seanchan with apprehension, marshaling its strength as a new mysterious man enters its Council of Nine.
Tear
Even with the Dragon having taken the Stone, using the nation as a base plots continue. One high lord or lady, has a private army and is rumored to be trying to take the stone back. Another High Lord is attempting to use the Dragon as an excuse to finally take over Mayene.
Andor
Riots occur in Caemlyn attesting to the influence of a man known as Lord Gaebril mounts - though he hasnt been seen recently. In the West Rebellion brews, and many groups are seen heading near Shadar Logoth for some reason. Something is happening to mines near Baerlon and nobles forced to swear during the Succession are talking together. A new flag waves over the Two Rivers as well, bringing whispers of a revived Manthereen...
Cairhien
The Dragon has taken Cairhein yet the King remains, however Daes Da'mar will not rest, especially with rumors the Dragon will depose Riatin give the nation as a protectorate - some worry the person named will be Elayne Trakand thus ensuring she has two kingdoms. To avoid open conflict, a so called War of Assassins rages made worse as the most skilled take payment in things other than coin...
Arad Doman
The nation watches the Seanchan to the south and to the north east Saldea. The southern third of the nation is lightly occupied, and they consider joining in the fray and breaking a fragile truce. The Great Captain Rodel is gathering his forces, though distractions remain with seaborne raids to the north - darkfriends it is whispered. Will the Seanchan be fighting a two front war?
The Borderlands
Aside from raids primarily by sea into Saldea, it is quiet on the blightborder. Even those few raids are small. The only troubling thing is now a few darkfriends openly accompany these raids? Where do they come from? Traitors?
Tar Valon
For the first time it would appear a diplomatic contact is being made with elements of the Seanchan and Shara, though quite a few elements would go against it. The summer heat is causing prices of everything on the island to undergo a small rise, and the Grey Ajah has been severely chastised. Likewise, in Hadan and the Caralain Plains some seem to want to revive those nations...
Rumors from further afield
Civil War is coming to Shara. The High Blood in Seanchan grumbles over the losses in Tarabon. Alie Dashar is being raided by a man named Harn. The Forsaken are loose. People walk the Termool. Cinnamon comes from an island filled with Shadowspawn.....
