Gossip amongst the people.
It is said that Jehannah is now under the full control of a man named Masema. He has taken to enacting swift justice against those deemed Darkfriends in the Dragon's name. It is quite possible that Ghealdan's countryside is not yet under his control, although individuals and groups apparently flock to the man's banner from as far afield as Andor.
There is much gossip that speaks well of the opportunities and protection to be afforded one in exchange for committing oneself to the Dragonsworn. Though several notable Inns have allegedly been burnt to the ground and whispers speak of a growing underground trade in strong wine (although weaker varieties remain for sale), smuggled in from Murandy. It would appear that there is a strong sense of order, however, and the situation is not talked about as disorganised.
Several great fires have been kept alive, for the past month, outside the walls of Jehannah which are now adorned by banners featuring the Dragon, not the silver stars and red of the ruler of the Light Blessed Throne.
Speculation on the position of Queen Alliandre has been rife after the deaths of several previous rulers, but it is thought that she is essentially under 'house' arrest.
Some families mourn the loss of their kin during an apparent purge of the Legion of the Wall stationed in the capital.
Word amongst the bards, merchants, nobles, and through faction agents.
The Legion of the Wall has been disbanded, and many of its leaders and officers executed as Darkfriends. A Captain, Gerard Arganda, one of the few of senior station to have survived the purge, remains in exile, holed up somewhere around Garen's Wall. It is said that he has made political overtures to the petty nobles of Murandy on behalf of a yet unknown party.
The Lord Dragon himself has not been in seen in Andor for sometime.
Followers pledging themselves to Masema continue to trickle in from across the Westlands, as well as some of those who had been broken from amongst the forces of the Altaran 'False Dragon' by the Legion and Black Tower. It would appear that Masema's forces number in the tens of thousands.
Word amongst the White Tower and Younglings.
