(A little something to assist the Legion in their day to day works and in their progression rate. Please all have a read.)

For a large military force being able to act and react to various battle situations is vital. Be if Cavalary, Infantry or ranged the Legion has different squad and formations to perform the best they can in battle. Each rank is charged with perfecting certain aspects of training so they can perform to the best of their ability at the position they stand in.
Training needed for advancement and for the best effectiveness of the men in the Legion.
Footman
Needs to be aware of basic warfare, following commands and fighting in different situations as well as discipline when faced with adversity.
- Factional Structure - Infantry/Cavalry/Scouts - and Chain of Command
A footman needs to be aware of the structure of the army he is in, and focus his skills into particular units. Once trained the footman will be placed into a particular unit.
- Saluting
Basic discipline and respect for command.
- Basic Battle Formations
Knowing how to react in battle when commands for formations are yelled out.
- Basics of the Blade, Pike and Crossbow/Bow
Be able to use different weapons depending on the battle situation.
- Horse control (Cavalry)
For Cavalry Unit only. To be as effective as possible when on horseback.
- Basic Scouting (Scouts)
For Scouting Unit only. To learn how to scout effectively as possible.
- Basics on Allies: Legion History, Black Tower, Aiel
Being aware of what they need to know about the other armies they fight with.
Squadman
Able to lead a small squad by example and be able to take orders, reacting to them effectively by himself or with his men.
- Advanced Weapon Training
Improving their personal effectiveness in battle.
- Advanced Horse (Cavalry)
For Cavalry Units only. Able to lead a squad of Cavalry and peform better than the average Horseman.
- Deception and Sabotage (scouts, continued)
For Scouting Unit only. To be able to put their skills in remaining unseen to more use than studying enemy lines. To be able to weaken the enemy without being caught.
- Squad Discipline
They should be able to control their squad in battle and in training, holding respect and the ability to lead.
- Patrols and Defences - Advanced Formations
Being aware of how to defend the fort or encampments and take their men on patrols effectively.
- Assessing and Good Reporting (judging numbers, eye for detail and such like)
Their reports should be superior to that of a footman with more information.
Bannerman
A man of this rank should be able to lead various squads under his command, a much larger number of men and able to recruit more men into the Legions ranks.
- Conducting Large Battles
They should have knowledge of larger scale battles and what is needed to be successful in a large battle, being able to lead them effectively in said situation.
- Last Factional Sword/Horse/Bow etc. Training
Perfecting their focus on fighting, being able to teach others on their talents when it comes to battle.
- Mass Formations, Retreating, Thinking Creatively
Needs to have a talent in acting and reacting in battle situations, using their initiative and doing what they can to lead their men to victory. They also need to be able to assess a battlefield and know when victory is unattainable and be able to retreat to save as many lives as possible. These choices are to be made with a perfect understanding of battle tactics.
- Submit Tactical Reports on Locations and the Fort
Their reports should be perfect when discussing situations involving war. They should have an understanding of what all other units are capable of and explain in their report what all units are currently doing. They should also have a knowledge of the state of the fort and be able to report on it’s well being and day to day activities.
- Doing Recruitment
They should be spending time recruiting more men to the cause of the Dragon Reborn into the Legion of the Dragon and know the process for doing so.
- General Discipline
Know how to discipline different offensives correctly and keep control over a large number of men effectively.
The Officer ranks are assigned at the discretion of the upper command for those who show exemplary performance in their field and in their command. They need to be aware of all that is below and be able to perform at a greater magnitude for the well being of their men and the success of the Leigion.
