Appearance
As you see him, Lorian has fine strands of dark brown hair that he obviously keeps carefully groomed. His grey-blue eyes oft appear calculating, yet easily lapse between nerves and a persuasive confidence. He is also one to keep some finely trimmed stubble around the jaw. A lilting accent gives away his Murandian heritage.
History
Lorian is the eldest son of a cut throat and a thief, though that is a close kept secret (told to no one by him). His childhood still stalks him like a spectre but provided him with a smooth, calculating tongue—when it works, that is. He tends to get quite nervous around those of higher station and power, tending to do well with similar men and women or those who have fallen on hard times.
A string of jobs have been undertaken by this young Murandian, ranging from organised gambling, to serving drinks in a bar. After saving for a time, though, the man decided to go straight and open a fish trading enterprise between some of the smaller towns and villages. Some of his better nature, unlocked by a new business partner in the form of a runaway daughter of a small noble house named Pan, saw the business do quite well.
Eventually, the pair decided to start doing business in Andor, with Lorian becoming somewhat of a nicer person, but still looking to get on the up. Recent events, however, decided a new path from which he could not run or talk away. The Black Coat demanded and he now finds himself with an angry Pan to whom he must apologise.
