Andor falls strangely quiet, except for the buzz around the Blademaster Academy and tighter security in Caemlyn. The Houses seem withdrawn, afraid for the moment to speak. Even some of the most vocal Houses whose loyalty to Morgase is a little tenuous seem to be gathering themselves and considering their tactical options.
Despite Lord Gaebril's best efforts, discontent has turned from whispers to physical appropriation. On the words and rhythms of a poem, trade caravans between Andor and Murandy have become routine targets for hungry folk of all kinds. In Aringill, shipments of fish are being pilfered.
With the death (as many still believe) or disappearance of Gareth Bryne, his own House has fallen into ruin. Although tiny, Kore Springs is believed to have been placed under martial law in the name of the Queen after widespread lawlessness.
The Children of the Light, although suffering a little in the aftermath of a recent major court case, seem to be extending more significant tendrils into Andor through the careful diplomacy of Great Captain, Lord Captain Commander, Pedron Niall.
There also seems no sign that Queen Morgase is willing to officially return to the tradition of an Aes Sedai advisor.
The swords of the Borderlands near Tarwin's Gap complain of a more restless menace.

A fête is to be held between Four Kings and Caemlyn in the near future so as to boost morale and confidence in the Queen's rule. Further provisions to provide food to the poor have been made by Lord Gaebril.
