Appearance

Paniel, known as Pan, is a fairly average looking young woman. Her face is a pleasant oval framed by long chestnut brown hair. Something about her bearing and gaze gives you the sense that she is well educated and possibly of noble birth. Kind, yet troubled blue eyes attest to an upbringing familiar with the game, but which has somehow gone wrong.


History

Pan is the youngest sibling of a minor Murandian house, probably not familiar to many. One of several, she was both granted little but yet still expected to excel and contribute to the glory of the house. Feeling the pressure of her family, Pan grew unhappy with her life and sought ways of escaping. Eventually, in a fit of rage, Pan flew from the house, taking a few personal possessions and a little money. While familiar with the rules of the minor nobility, Pan found it difficult to survive in the dangerous wider world of Murandy.

It was, or perhaps not, to her luck, to bump into a young prospective merchant by the name of Lorian Fyne. With him she struck up an uneasy partnership trading fish between local towns. Though she treated most with indifference, shielding herself from ever really making friends, she truly began to open up to Lorian, trusting him above others.

As a travelling merchant, she found it necessary to hone the basic sword skills taught by her father, but remains deeply mistrusting of her own abilities. And, having moved with Lorian to trade in Andor, she has found herself betrayed and abandoned on learning that he had joined the Asha’man. She is now looking for something new, to distract her from the betrayal and prove to herself she is no longer so dependent upon him as she once though she was.

Pan cannot remember the last time she felt happy, she sits in front of a blazing fire watching the flames dance around each other and tries to remember her friend for who he truly is, but the only memories she can find are of his betrayal, she can't seem to let them go. It was at this exact moment that she was approached by Lamis a Squadman in the Children of the Light who without saying a word sat next to her on that uncomfortable log. Maybe it was the way she was feeling or maybe she was touched by the way somebody wanted to talk to her enough to actually sit on this thing whichever it was she looked up at him ready to accept his following words...

Pan Dy'nesi, now a Squadman in the Children of the Light has all but lost the innocence she once held on to. Now devoted to the Light she has become ruthless and unemotional. She no longer holds any place in her heart for her once close friend and would like nothing more than to see him along with his fellow madmen bought to justice under the Light.
