Staff Structure
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Lead - Possesses executive authority over the greater WoT NWN community. Oversees the continuing improvement of both the story and development aspects of the server, and serves as final arbitrator in all disputes. Ownership of all community intellectual property rests with the community with Project Lead acting as steward and custodian as long as they remain in office.
Head of Storytelling - Tasked with managing and developing story lines and determining the overall story arc of Beyond the Pattern under the direction of the Project Lead. To work closely with the Head of Development to ensure IC changes to the server are reflected in the mod. They will also be responsible for maintaining a team of storyteller DMs, and will be involved in the selection of new storyteller team members.
Head of Development - Tasked with overseeing the technical development of the mod under the direction of the Project Lead, as well as striving to maintain balance. To work closely with the Head of Storytelling to ensure IC changes to the server are reflected in the mod and advise on what is possible. They will also be responsible for maintaining a team of developers, and will be involved in the selection of new development team members.
Officers - In charge of regulating the community; among other things, they handle OOC player requests, complaints, and carry out punitive measures when required.
Storyteller DM - Tasked with the day-to-day running of events and plots, as well as acting on players' IC requests. May be assigned a specific faction or region under the direction of the Head of Storytelling or Project Lead.
Developers - Tasked with building, scripting and other technical work for the mod under the direction of the Head of Development.
